Designer's Glass Waterfront Lakehouse

The house is simply stunning. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were staying at an exclusive resort. The views through the floor-to-ceiling glass are absolutely breathtaking. Every room was thoughtfully designed, and you could tell so much care was put into every detail. I especially loved the spa-like bathrooms with the gorgeous lighting and wonderful smelling bath products. Other details like the beds, which we all slept like babies in, were incredibly comfortable; and then the cool kitchen was well-stocked. It had everything we needed (including gold utensils), which made cooking meals together easy and stylish! We also loved that we could bring our pets. They’re family and deserve a vacation too! One of my favorite parts of the trip was floating in the lake by the dock. We noticed boats slowing down, people pointing at the house, and coming in closer to get a better look. We joked that we felt like celebrities! It’s such an impressive home, it’s easy to see why it catches everyone’s attention. We made some amazing memories here and absolutely enjoyed our time here. Finally, the hosts are responsive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful, memorable stay.

Amazing home and highly recommend! The house itself is gorgeous and a great setup. The lake is stunning and it’s nice that it’s off from the main juncture so it’s quieter (but still easy access). Communication and check in were amazing!

We loved our SECOND stay at this beautiful contemporary lake house. The design is stunning...open, airy, and filled with light from the floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over the water. Mornings on the dock were peaceful. We loved seeing the fog hover over the lake. Dusk was dreamy. The house is well-equipped, comfortable, and feels both luxurious and relaxed. It’s the perfect blend of nature and modern architecture...great for recharging, cooking together, or just watching the lake. We can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Glass House! The main living area was even larger than the photos suggest, and the minimalist, open style of the home made everything feel spacious, bright, and perfectly clean. The bedrooms were private and incredibly comfortable—a wonderful retreat after long days on the water.The house itself was quite the attraction; we often noticed boaters slowing down just to get a closer look. The dock was a highlight of our trip—peaceful and tranquil in the early mornings, then lively throughout the day with swimming, paddle boarding, floating, and fishing. In the evening, we enjoyed reading, relaxing, and toasting marshmallows. Andrew and Anna were wonderful host and were attentive before, during, and after our stay. They shared helpful information about boat rentals (note: delivery to the dock is only available for 3 day rentals). We ended up renting a pontoon and had an amazing day exploring the big lake, including a stop at Grandma’s Island for a picnic and a swim. For something truly special, I highly recommend an early morning kayak trip to the cove on Lizard Creek—you’ll find a breathtaking lily pad garden waiting for you. The location on the water was an ideal mix of entertaining boating activity and so quiet you’d think you had the water to yourself. This home is the perfect combination of style, comfort, and lakefront fun. We can’t wait to return!

We had a great time. Very clean house with wonderful views and lake access. Kitchen was easy to cook in and bedrooms were nice and dark for deep sleeps. Plenty of parking and easy ability to maneuver vehicles and boat trailer. Highly recommend for your next Lake Gaston vacation!
